A hidden tunnel door, usually camouflaged with dried leaves. Around an open entrance, many such hidden doors are dug. If American soldiers were to discover an entrance, they might congregate around it to throw grenades, poison gas or even poisonous snakes into the tunnel. Vietcong soldiers could spring up from the many hidden doors and surprise the enemies by firing on them.
