SUNGEI BULOH WETLANDS NATURE RESERVE

On Thursday, I made a visit to the Sungei Buloh Wetlands Reserve in rustic Kranji. A similar reserve named Chek Jawa is found in Pulau Ubin for which a visit has been planned. Here is a view of the surroundings of the visitors' centre with lots of greenery. Entrance fees to the reserve are $1.00 for adults and $0.50 for students and senior citizens. The walk will take about an hour and a half.

This looks rather inviting to dip one's feet for cooling but is deceptive. Step in and one could go slipping down into the water, the depth of which is not certain.
