Ta Phrom, a mid 12th to early 13th Century temple, was built by King Jayarvarman VII based on Buddhist principles and styled like Bayon. The sprawling monastic complex has only been partially cleared of jungle overgrowth and intentionally left partially unrestored for a jungle atmosphere. As we walked in to see it, we came upon these musicians who are land-mine victims.
