East Mebon is a large temple-mountain-like ruin; it has three levels and is crowned with five towers. Constructed in late 10th Century by King Rajendravarman III, based on Hindhuism (Shiva). Styled after Prey Rup. There exists a West Mebon, ruins of a temple built late 11th Century in the West Baray. Because of the water around it, today it's been used as a recreational area.
