On our drive down to Sanya, we stopped at a museum in Qionghai to commemorate the only liberation force of the Red Army that was made up of women (Hong Mao Niang Zi Jin). Perhaps, this is also a reflection of the notion that Hainanese men are lay back and leave most of the work and other chores to women. This is the entrance to the museum.
