The coconut trees on the left show the velocity of the wind. At times, the ball when struck would rise and then seem motionless in mid-air before dropping straight down. With the wind, distances become exaggerated at times. In fact, as we approached this green, the wind was so strong that the top portion of the flag stick with the flag snapped and got blown into a green side bunker.
