A travelogue by Larry Quah who travels to open the "windows of his mind", takes nothing with him but fond memories and leaves nothing but his footprints.

Hole 5 of Kennedy Bay Golf Club, Port Kennedy, is called "Thread the Needle". Like in St Andrews and Gleneagles, all the holes here are named. The opening is "Sunrise" and the closing is "Sunset". Another is called "Coate Hanger", so expect strong headwinds. There are also "Judgment", "Hell" and "Temptation". Threading the Needle requires one to approach thru a series of bunkers that narrows closer to the green. The course is par 72 and is 6,420 m off the black tees. There are no blue or white tees, only black and gold, the latter being shorter.
