Here is Joe teeing off at the 11th of the Cut. What a difference a day makes! The day before, when we arrived at the course, which is located at Port Bouvard south of Mandurrah, it was raining and the winds were blowing very strongly. We went to play but could not hack it and returned after 11 holes. The Cut mgt was magnanimous and offered us another round on them the next day. On the previous day, at the 11th Green, in the background, the ball could not be placed on the green as the winds would blow it away. Even tho I played at the Kapalua Resort and Koolau in Hawaii and St Andrews in Scotland, I have never experienced such strong winds. Anyway, we were told that that day was exceptional. What an experience indeed!
