We went to N Thailand for golf and sight-seeing in Dec 05. We arrived in Chiangrai after driving from Chiangmai for more than four hours because there was no inn in Chiangmai for the first two nights. When I explored the streets around the hotel the next morning, I found this trishaw rider waiting for fare under an image of his beloved king.
