I found this Akha boy too cute not to take his photo. We were on the way up from his village and he undertook the climb with us. David is all attention as he takes his steps on the way up.
oh! this is the little boy with the backpack that you were talking about! he is so adorable! in japanese, "aka" means "red"... how appropriate that his bag is also in that colour!
Ryozan, The boy is so cute indeed. How coincidental that "aka" is red in Japanese and he happened to be carrying a red bagpack. I am still wondering what he carried in it though.
