SPRING TIME IN HONSHU, JAPAN

Matsumoto Castle which is designated a National Treasure. It has been around for more than 400 years. Looking at the castle, you may think there are five storeys but actually, there are six. It's done to fool the enemy as to its actual capacity. The false floor was used mainly for ammunition storage and extra troops to throw into a battle.
