On the way from SR to Tongle Sap, the great lake which occupies about 2.7k sq km, in the low rainy season, and 16k sq km at its peak, vis-a-vis 181k sq km of total Cambodian land space. The lake supplies > than 60% of the fish for Cambodians but Vietnamese donors, who aid Cambodia in fishing, are said to have used fishing methods that deplete the fish source. The houses here are built on bamboo stilts as the area is prone to flooding during the rainy seasons and may be shifted. This pic and the next 10 document my experience at the lake.
