SNOW IN AFRICA? (Cont'd)

One of several stalls selling figs, dates, nuts and others in the Marrakech Square. I was amused by someone asking him, "Do you have Iranian figs?"

Around the square, there are stalls selling salad, meat and so forth which the Moroccans will partake off before their dinner.

The Marrakech Square has been featured in Nat Geographic as one of the most fascinating places in the World. In the evening, performers of all types - African drummers, dancers, snake charmers, water men, etc - will try to get your attention for pix or whatever for a small fees.

Riding a horse carriage and seeing Marrakech is quite unique and popular.

There we were at a Fantasia Show featuring Berber horsemen and tribal groups. Here, one of the groups is performing for our table. My Madam is actively participating?

Two of the Berber horsemen parading after the show. Quite a sight to see them charging down a line and firing their long rifles altogether. A Fantasia show or sorts will be held when there is a Berber wedding. Each tribe participating will send their dancers, musicians and horsemen to make merry.

This donkey is a participant in the stunts performed by the Berber horsemen.

Our hotel in Marrakech designed along Moroccan lines.

On the way to Essaouira, one will come across goats perched on Argan trees. The owners probably cajoled or forced them up there to be photographed for a small fees.

Women in the process of preparing Argan oil which is touted as an elixir of youth or whatever for women. Women from all over flock there to buy this product.
